I accepted Jane Dougherty’s poetry challenge, the theme of the week being swans, in any aspect or variation. The poem is seven lines in the syllable pattern 1-2-3-4-3-2-1.

Here goes:

Swan
Duckling
fairy tale
not in Swan Lake
ducks don’t like
ballet
shoes
