Haiku Challenge: Charm & Look

Another challenge from Ronovan: create a haiku using the words “charm” and “look” with contrasting sentences – one positive, one negative. I used a form of “charm” here, hope that’s acceptable.  Thanks again, Ronovan, for the brain teaser!

I call this “Snake Charmer.”

Snake charmer in high
plains looks to God, salvation —
till rattlesnake bites
