I did it myself
I usually don’t
but I bought the polish
awhile ago at CVS
and thought it was time to use
I don’t like waste
the red on my nails
had chipped
It’s something small
like so many of the things
we do for ourselves
and others
but it makes me feel good
Am I blue?

Wish I could put nail polish on so well. I mess it up every time. I get a manicure once in a blue moon (see what I did there?) and once the colour has chipped I take it off and go unvarnished.
